QuickSkin has been developed for use in making moulds or parts from machinable tooling block of any density.

Simply apply QuickSkin directly on the tooling block and within a couple of hours you are ready for production of the final master (mould). In other words: QuickSkin supports rapid prototyping of masters and/or production of a limited number of parts. If more parts are desired, solvent-free release agent “WaterShield”, can be applied on top of the sealed substrate to allow for a better release of parts.

QuickSkin cures in minutes at room temperature and is applied by roller or brush to a clean, dust-free surface. 2-6 coats may be needed depending on porosity with only 15 minutes cure time between coats.

Cured film is usable up to 135° C. and can be repaired if damaged.  QuickSkin does not require any post-curing. Contact us for more information…..
